Assembly Information
Important information for assembly of your Presence Sensing Planter Kit
Pre-Printed
Your planter will arrive pre-sealed and ready to go!
Some of the UV resin may still be a little tacky. This doesn’t effect the sealing of your planter - it’s just an extremely thin layer of resin that hasn’t cured due to oxygen exposure.
If you’re concerned, put your planter in the sun for a few hours to reduce the tackiness.There are mounting holes for the GPIO board on the sensor mount component. These are there in case you want to use them, but are not needed, so there are not screws included.
Because it’s difficult to get tolerances perfect for the USB port press fit, it’s a good idea to attach your MTR-1 sensor to the mount with some double sided foam mounting tape or hot glue to hold it in place.
Your sensor mount may be a tight fit, but they’ve all been tested, so it will fit!
Hardware Kit
Your kit contains everything you need to print and assemble your own planter, but you should be aware of a couple of things.
